1. Be concise

- use action verbs

e.g:

The report provided an explanation for these unusual results.

The report explained these unusual results.

-use vocabulary you already know

2. Organize your paper

- structure your writing

- connect your ideas to your thesis

- maintain your focus

3. Avoid constractions, idioms, & colloquial expressions

avoid: it’s, there’s
write: it is, there has

avoid: put up with, check out
write: endure/tolerate, view/consult

maybe it shoule work with some softwares…

4. Vary your sentence structure

I woke up late this morning. I immediately went to the kitchen, and I made myself a cup of coffee. After I finished my coffee, I got ready for work. When I looked at my watch, I realized I was running late, so I ran out the door and jumped in my car.
